The 45th General Election: What Has Been Shared
Links to the following information regarding the 45th General Election have been sent to all Teachers:
- Detailed information about when, how, and where to vote will be found through the Elections Canada website.
- Websites of the four (4) federal political parties represented in the House of Commons, and their respective and platforms.
- Student Vote Canada.
- A list of nominated candidates of political parties regionally represented in the House of Commons.
- ETFO Provincial’s Federal Election Key Messages.
- Specific information regarding advance poll locations and voting times.
Election Day is Monday, April 28. Polls are open from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. It’s your right to be heard. Have your say. Vote.
Rally to Protect Canadian Jobs

Sisters, Brothers, and Friends of the Labour Movement,
As I assured you earlier this month, I would call on your support when the time came to mobilize. I’m pleased to share details of a first rally in Windsor, Ontario.
We invite you to join us as we take action.
On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. E.T., we will be holding a Protect Canadian Jobs rally in Windsor, Ontario to make our collective voices heard. This is not just about the auto sector - this is a fight to protect Canadian jobs in every industry, for every worker.

Where: Riverfront Festival Plaza, Windsor, ON
