Declaration of the Elections for these positions will be announced at the Local Annual Meeting on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Online voting will take place from 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2026.

Police Record Check

As you may be aware, in December 2025 the Government of Ontario amended Regulation 521/01 under the Education Act, creating a mandatory requirement for school boards to collect a new police record check every five years for all employees, including teachers. This is a province-wide legislative change and not a local school board initiative.
