Political Action Committee


The Political Action Committee will: provide the information to the membership of the Local and general public in matters concerning municipal, provincial and federal elections; encourage Members to be active, educated participants and voters in all election processes; educate the membership, and through them, the general public as to what our views are with respect to government policy / legislation / propaganda; support election candidates who are deemed appropriate by the Committee and / or Executive in municipal, provincial and federal elections; endeavour to educate the membership and the public with regard to issues and ETFO policy which supports and promotes the positive profile of our Union, public education and Teachers throughout the community, the province and the world; and join with other like-minded organizations to promote publicly funded education and Teachers.
