Timetables
L 22.20 a
- All Teaching Assignments will be determined by the principal

- Teachers will be provided with a draft timetable by the last day of school
Draft timetables need to include preparation time and what subjects are being taught if providing preparation time. Preparation time is 240 minutes in 5 days. Teachers use their professional judgement, considering the board’s time guidelines, to fill out the reminder of their timetable. All teachers, including classroom and non-classroom/system, must have a timetable (Education Act Section 264 g)

- The in-school staffing committee shall provide input to the principal on the development of equitable timetables
- During September, the In-School Staffing Committee will review timetables and make recommendations on necessary adjustments
The In-School Staffing Committee plays a pivotal role in ensuring preparation minutes are adhered to.
