Scott Hardie
Vice President
Scott is proud of his 19 years as a classroom teacher. He has taught all divisions and has provided leadership within the schools where he worked. Scott is a passionate teacher who believes in providing rich learning experiences for all students. His passion and leadership are apparent from his coaching school sports teams, running intramurals, student council, school shows, organizing school events, and leading staff PD.
Scott has been actively involved with ETFO since the early days of his career. He started as a Workplace Steward in 2001 and has continually held various positions within the Union, including educational liaison to Althouse, Staffing Committee Member, picket captain, open executive Non-Released Executive, and currently serves as Vice President.
Scott works collaboratively with the Local Executive but specializes in his portfolio. Areas include, but are not limited to:
